Greetings from the cold (but curiously not that snowy, at the moment) upper-Midwest. I’m Joe Francis and I’ve been doing this eLearning “thing” for not quite 30 years now, from single-spin CD-ROMs to high-speed broadband, from MS Windows 3 through whatever version Windows is in now, from small, cobbled-together training departments of a handful to Fortune 500 Learning Divisions of several hundred, in industries including broadcast television, graphic arts sales, P&C insurance, higher education, energy, healthcare, manufacturing, and now service.

I’ve been beta tester for several of the big eLearning software vendors for 2 decades and have quite a bit of experience with the AICC and SCORM specifications for standard courseware formats, and integrating courseware with learning management systems, assessment systems, and databases.

I’ve worked with a wide variety of clients, developers, vendors, and service providers and have been an invited speaker at eLearning developer conferences in the US, UK, and Europe.

Hi everyone, thanks for including me in the Community! I am Dana Freeman, and I live just north of Dallas, Texas in Frisco. I work remotely for Wayfair as a Learning Experience Design Manager, and some of my team members have taken this program and love it. I have been in L&D for 30 years and have always been passionate about designing performance-based training with solid objectives that are aligned to assessment questions and practice activities… and which align to the content. I have been a coach and mentor to many in the L&D industry, but not as part of this program. As a hobby, I rescue horses from kill pens where they are being held for slaughter. I also rescue enslaved children in EMEA from rock quarries and other bad situations. I am also writing a book on LXD and would love to know what questions you have about it or things you’d like to see included in the book? Thanks!

I’m a life long learner and looking forward to expanding my skills but could use some guidance.
