Closing the Gap: Upskilling and Reskilling in an AI Era

DeVry University has released their report, Closing the Gap: Upskilling and Reskilling in an AI Era, that surveyed more than 1,500 employees and 580 hiring decision-makers across sectors to uncover gaps and opportunities for upskilling in this rapidly evolving landscape.

No surprise, AI is the leading trend with women falling behind, workers thinking they know more than perhaps their skill level indicates, and companies not providing opportunities or time to up and reskill for all of their employees’ raising questions. My "aha is the issue of time, companies say they offer more time to learn yet workers aren’t choosing to learn, and I would like to see if this is management perception vs worker reality around time to learn - my guess is the working learner is on their own.
